Sonny’s Place is a private educational studio dedicated to skill remediation and acceleration for school-age children (ages 5–12). We offer in-person, one-on-one tutoring in reading, writing, and math, with lessons tailored to each child’s unique learning profile.
Our targeted, explicit teaching approach is designed to fast-track academic growth. Rooted in a Universal Design for Learning framework, we honor and support the diverse ways children think, learn, and thrive.
Low-tech enrichment at Sonny's Place focuses on hands-on, creative learning experiences that do not rely on technology. These activities are especially effective for children, encouraging tactile exploration, imaginative thinking, and real-world problem-solving.
What is Enrichment?
Enrichment refers to educational experiences that go beyond the standard school curriculum to deepen understanding, spark curiosity, and develop a broad range of skills. It supports academic achievement and enhances a child’s intellectual, creative, social, and emotional growth.
